New and Noteworthy

The Come On is the brainchild of songwriter Sam Barron and producer Brian Speaker (Jeffrey Lewis, The Fem Doms); an irreverent new wave rock concoction of overdriven Telecaster, vocal harmonies and sparse synth strokes. Their debut EP was released on February 18th and kicked off with a two week South East run.

After working on an array of collaborators in Nashville and Louisville, Cristina Taddonio is releasing a collection of songs that came from these collaborations. A fusion of organic instrumentation and electro-pop hooks, this new project, UXI, will launch its debut EP on April 28th.

The Davenports fourth studio album, "Don't Be Mad at Me," will be out this summer. Including a duet with The Magnetic Fields's Shirley Simms and a co-write with Swedish songwriter David Myhr of The Merrymakers, itteh album will offer up another serving of infectious power-pop and song spun ballads the band is known for.

We also have instrumental and urban electronica records from The Kickdrum People and Cherry Feathers,

as well as Soft News will be releasing a new EP of reimagined Everything But The Girl covers using only a string quartet and vocals.
